Clean Hands, Bright Smile: A Gift-Giving for Kids
Free hygiene kits were given away to several Sambayanihan Centers on November 8, 2024, by the TSPI Candelaria Branch and TSPI Tayabas Branch.
It was carried out at the TSPI Sambayanihan Center in Brgy by the TSPI Tayabas Branch. Ipilan Tayabas, whereas TSPI Candelaria is located in Brgy at the Sambayanihan Center. Quezon’s Bukal Sur Candelaria.
Free hygiene kits were given to 25 children from Sariaya and 30 youngsters from Tayabas.
Along with the free distribution of hygiene kits, participants also received free food.
Pastor Nonoy Leosala shared the gospel with the attendees of Tayabas at the start of the program, while Bro. In Candelaria was Rosalito Campit.
At the beginning of the program, Pastor Nonoy Leosala had a sharing of the word of God for those who attended Tayabas, while Bro. Rosalito Campit was in Candelaria.
The head of Brgy. Nutrition Schoolar (BNS) of Brgy Ipilan, Mrs. Marian Briagas, spoke about the proper care of the body and good health of the attendees of the Tayabas Sambayanihan Center and Brgy. Fountain Member Nelson dele Vega among those who attended Candelaria.
The event was attended by more than 106 people. Fifty-five (55) are from Calendelaria while fifty-one (51) are from Tayabas.
The distribution of free hygiene kits is part of the Sambayanihan Program under the Hygiene and Sanitation Category to assess the health of children and to promote knowledge about proper hygiene in the community.
