TOWARDS PROGRESSIVE FARMING: TSPI Gulayan Program – Pagbiagan Greenhouse Project Dedication

On January 22, 2026, the dedication of the TSPI Gulayan Program – Pagbiagan Greenhouse Project was held in Brgy. Matarannoc, San Manuel, Tarlac. The project reflects strong collaboration and shared commitment to community development in the field of agriculture.

The TSPI Gulayan Program – Greenhouse Project is part of the TSPI MBAI Member’s Benefit Program, under the SC TSPI Gulayan Program. It was granted to the farmer group of the Pagbiagan Multi-Purpose Cooperative, which is also a TSPI client under the TSPI Agricultural Program (TPP). This project aims to increase onion farmers’ production and income, ensure consistent quality and supply of harvests, serve as a learning hub and seedling bank-house, and promote and sustain client-resilient farming practices that support stronger livelihoods and food security.

The program formally began with praise and worship and a morning devotion led by Ptr. Victor L. Santos of the Bible Baptist Church.

Messages were delivered by MFI Strategic Head Rexchell A. Querido and Hon. Mayor Dona Cresencia R. Tesoro of San Manuel, Tarlac. A message of gratitude was delivered by Mr. Eulogio A. Cabiles, President and representative of the Pagbiagan farmers.

Certificates of Appreciation were also awarded to San Manuel, Tarlac Mayor Dona Cresencia R. Tesoro for her unwavering support of TSPI projects in the municipality, and to Mr. Eulogio A. Cabiles for his role as a Board of Trustee Member of TSPI-MBAI for the North Region, while also serving as President and representative of the Pagbiagan farmers.

This TSPI Gulayan Program-Pagbiagan Greenhouse Project stands as proof of the successful collaboration among TSPI-NGO, TSPI-MBAI, and the San Manuel Local Government Unit. It demonstrates that progressive, productive, and sustainable agricultural livelihoods are achievable when communities collaborate towards a shared vision of development and a better future.
