DEBOSYON KAY KRISTO 2026 CENTER LEADERS RETREAT: Renewed. Transformation. Recommitment

TSPI Center Leaders Experience Spiritual Renewal at the Debosyon kay Kristo 2026 Retreat

For many TSPI client member leaders, service is more than a responsibility—it is a calling rooted in faith, compassion, and love for others.

This calling was renewed and strengthened as Center Leaders from different communities gathered for the Debosyon kay Kristo – 2026 Center Leaders Retreat, an initiative of Tulay sa Pag-unlad Inc. (TSPI) under its Sambayanihan Program.

More than just a retreat, the gathering became a sacred journey of reflection, healing, and spiritual renewal. Through moments of prayer, fellowship, and heartfelt sharing, the retreat reminded every participant that true leadership begins with a transformed heart. For many, the experience became deeply personal and life- changing.

As shared by Nanay Odette Rama, Center Chief of Sampaguita center, GMA Branch:

“Ang retreat ay nagsilbing healing and transformation. Naturuan akong maging mapang-unawa, magkaroon ng kababaang-loob, at natutunan kong magpatawad sa kapwa”

Her testimony reflects the very essence of the retreat- that beyond leadership and responsibility, every servant-leader needs healing, guidance, and spiritual nourishment.

A Time to Reflect and Reconnect

Behind every thriving community are leaders who carry many roles each day—as parents, entrepreneurs, and guides to their fellow members.

The DKK Retreat gave these Center Leaders a rare moment to pause, reflect, and renew their calling to serve.

“Ang retreat na ito ay nagpapaalala sa akin na ang paglilingkod ay hindi lang trabaho—ito ay pagmamahal sa Diyos at sa kapwa.” — Asuncion Soho, Center Chief Center 54, Bangar Branch

With renewed faith and purpose, they return to their communities ready to continue uplifting lives and building stronger centers.

Leadership Rooted in Faith

At TSPI, empowering communities goes beyond financial support—it means forming leaders guided by faith, compassion, and service. Through Sambayanihan initiatives and programs like Debosyon Kay Kristo, TSPI invests in the holistic growth of its members.

Nanay Marites Cariaga, Center Chier of Center 349 of Mangatarem Branch, narrates:

“Ang presensya at paggabay ng Panginoong Jesus ang tunay na nagbigay sa akin ng lakas at direksyon bilang leader. Naniniwala ako na hindi ako makakapamuno nang maayos kung wala akong tamang relasyon sa Kanya.”

Carrying the Mission Forward

As part of the retreat, participants were invited into moments of deep reflection through guided questions that encouraged honest sharing, personal renewal, and meaningful learning. From these reflections emerged a powerful and unifying testimony-renewed faith, strengthen commitment, and a deeper sense of purpose in serving God, their families and their communities.

A total of 1,116 TSPI client leaders from North Luzon to South Luzon participated in the Debosyon Kay Kristo (DKK) Retreat, where they experienced a renewed and deeper encounter with Christ. Through moments of worship, reflection, fellowship, and spiritual enrichment, participants were encouraged and inspired to strengthen their faith and live out Christian values in their daily lives.

The impact of the retreat extended far beyond the event itself. Deeply moved by the experience, many participants chose to share the blessings they received with others. In a powerful demonstration of faith in action, they “paid it forward” by referring 642 potential new client members to TSPI, consisting of 321 prospective borrowers and 321 prospective Kapamilyas.

More than numbers, these referrals represent lives touched and communities reached. They reflect the participants’ desire to extend the same opportunity for transformation, hope, and holistic development that they themselves experienced. Through their actions, the spirit of the retreat continues to ripple outward, creating pathways for more families to encounter positive change and become part of a caring and empowered community.

The retreat’s message is now alive in them: that faith is not meant to be kept, but shared; that blessings are not meant to be stored, but multiplied. Empowered by grace and strengthened by purpose, these Center Leaders now continue their journey – guiding fellow members, uplifting families, and helping build stronger, more hopeful communities. With hearts renewed in faith and strengthened in purpose, these Center Leaders continue their journey—guiding fellow members, supporting families, and building stronger communities.

Through initiatives like the Debosyon Kay Kristo Retreat, TSPI continues to affirm its mission of empowering lives and transforming communities – one renewed leader, one strengthen family, and one thriving center at a time.
